The Fine Fettle Ceilidh Band is an enthusiastic group of folk musicians, and our caller Maggie, dedicated to giving you a great night of music and dancing.

 

We are based in Sheffield and usually play in Derbyshire or South Yorkshire, though we have been tempted as far as Essex and to a hamlet near Barnard Castle!

 

We play for for anniversaries, birthdays, celebrations, fundraising events, and anywhere you want your guests to mix, dance and have fun.  Our aim is for everyone, whether aged 3 or 93, to enjoy themselves.  The dances are not complicated, but Maggie will explain them all, so don’t worry!

 

The music we play is from all over the British Isles, and some from Europe and America.  You can hear samples on the Music page.

 

During the last year we sent the profits from our gigs to the Alzheimer’s Society, and this year we will be giving them to the Amala children’s home in India.
